Meet Classic Rock Dave

About Me

 

I started playing guitar at 12 and met Mike, a keyboard player, in high school. We formed a band and played regularly at Friday night high school dances, parties, and at battle of the bands contests. I also played in our high school jazz band.


I quit playing after high school to pursue a career and family. And then, 50 years later, my high school closed and they held a weekend "goodbye" party for the school. Our band was asked to play a set, which we did, on the very stage we played on half a century ago. It was a blast, and I returned to music, performing mostly on my own, singing and playing acoustic guitar in bars, restaurants, coffee shops and private parties.
